“I am so sad to hear of Mr. Hansford's passing. He was THE teacher who made such a positive impact in my life. It was during my year in his classroom that I realized that I could do or be anything if i put in the hard work. After 30 years of teaching myself I realize how hard his job was. Not only was he the 6th Grade teacher but also the principal. He had 30 students that year including a 15 year old behavior problem and kids with all kinds of special needs. His old-school discipline paid off.”
