She was predeceased by: her parents, Ambrose Jackson and Ione Pearl Brown Sr. (Robinson); her husband James C. Grimes Jr.; and her siblings, Ambrose Brown Jr. (Clarice), Matthew Clark Brown, Clyde Norman Brown (Mary Jeanette), Franklin Delano Brown and Katherine Pearl Brooke (Joe Will).
She is survived by: her son Kenneth J. Grimes (Linda) of Piqua; and her sister Iris Glennelle Harris (Ralph Lee) of Douglasville, Georgia..
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ohio's Hospice of Miami County; Miami Valley Council-Boy Scouts of America; or to the YWCA Piqua.
