He was predeceased by: his parents, Perry Aubrey and Thelma Shuff (Hogg); his former wife Margaret Shuff; and his sister Marilyn. He is survived by: his wife Barb Shuff; his children, Fred Shuff (Diane), Melissa Brown (Jeff) and Angie Harrington (Tom); his stepchildren, Dean Coulter (Patty), Dennis Coulter (Denise), Tammy Langdon, Tonya Thomas (Troy) and Tracy Harbaugh (Joel); his nieces, Cathy, Pam and Penny; and his nephew Terry. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren and spouse's, many great & great great grandchildren.
