He is survived by: his wife Nancy Smith (Furnas); his children, Thomas E. Smith, Jr. of Mooresville, NC, Nicholas Miller (Julie) of Piqua, OH, Erin Boroff (Marc) of Tensed, ID and Timothy Miller of Vandalia, OH; his close friend Betty Baum; and his sister Mary Lou VonLohr of Kettering, OH. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
