He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Byer and Ethel Byer (Meranda); and his sister Sarah Ceylor. He is survived by: his wife Susan K. Kemerley; his daughters, Jennifer Byer of Springboro and Christina Nishiki (Nathan) of Toledo; and his grandchildren, Paige and Shelby Bickle.
