Sandra Beckstedt Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sandra Beckstedt of Piqua, Ohio, who passed away on February 26, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold McCarty and Helen McCarty (Fries); her husband George E. "Gene" Beckstedt; her daughter Rhonda Pence; and her siblings, Karen Iddings, Mary DiPadova, Harold Jr. "Sonny", Dan, Fred and Randy McCarty.
She is survived by: her sons, Jeff Simmons, Richard Simmons and Rodney Beckstedt (Joy) of Houston; her son-in-law Larry Pence of Sidney; and her siblings, Rick McCarty of Calif and Delores McCarty of Piqua. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Sidney Apostolic Temple (210 S Pomeroy Ave, Sidney, OH 45365). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
