He was predeceased by: his parents, Lundie Elswick and Maxie Elswick (Young); and his daughter Debbie Elswick. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Elswick (Jackson); his children, Jason Elswick, Penny Swallow, Sidney and Betty (Steve Jenkins); his brother Donald Elswick of Flatgap, KY; and his grandchildren, Rachel (Grise), Kassidy Reissig, Geoffrey Mullennix, Jessica Stewart, Dustin Perkins, Timothy Perkins, Julia Graham and Stevie Jenkins. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
