He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Christy and Mildred Christy (Newlin); his children, Robert Charles Christy and Cathy Ann Christy; and his siblings, Carolina Schneider and William H "Butch" Christy.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cindy Mullennix of Piqua, OH, Marilyn Griffin (Dave) of Piqua, OH and Lisa Leckey of Sidney, OH; his grandchildren, Chad, Geremy (Jami), Mandy (Shane), Kimberly, Sara and Dalton; his great grandchildren, Bailey, Katlin, Austin, Breanna, Cierra, Dakota, Paige, Drew, Landry, Oliver, Thea and Cade; and his great great grandchildren, Joey and Colt.
