He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Sr. Bolin and Juanita Bolin (Unroe); and his sister Vicki Cox. He is survived by: his children, Heather Gasson-Hampton, Chelsea Mumpower, Brittany Bolin, Cassandra Hunt, Rick Stephan, Mike Stephan, John Stephan and Casey Erbaugh; his siblings, Kenneth Bolin Jr., Jeff Sears of Somerset, KY, Jacklin Powell (Lockington), Gwen Newman (Sidney), Deborah and Karen Anderson; his grandchildren, Katelynn, Brianna, Brooke, James, Clayton, Ricky, Kila, Kara, Nick, Erin, Tessa, Heavenly-Grace, Reece, Victoria and Colton; and his great grandchildren, Aralynn and Jaimee.
