He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin B. Heckman and Mildred G. Heckman (Ellerbrock); his siblings, William Heckman and Joyce Rose; and his great grandchild Amelia Bea Randolph.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Evelyn Streacker; his children, Tami M. Echemann (Tom) of Indian Lake, Lori S. Monroe (Mark) of Somerset, Kentucky, Robert A. Heckman (Jennifer) of Piqua and Eric T. Heckman (Dana) of Arcanum; his grandchildren, Andrew Echemann (Cailyn), Tricia Randolph (Ben), Kelli Echemann, Tina Echemann, Kathleen Deer (Joseph), Robert Heckman, Monica Heckman, Michelle Heckman, Ambor Fulton and Adam Monroe; and his sister Janet M. Risk (William) of Chocowinity. He is also survived by nineteen great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren.
