He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Cruikshank and Edith M. Cruikshank (Hirsch); his brothers, Lewis and Harold Jr.; and his great grandchild Aurora Cruikshank Mr.
He is survived by: his children, William Cruikshank (Mindy) of Houston, Christine Seitz (Jamie) of Piqua, Vickie Cruikshank of Piqua and Richard L. Cruikshank Jr. of Piqua; his grandchildren, Angela Pettus (Marty), Darla Bittner, Amber Young, Joe Shaffer (Sarah Doherty) and Wesley Cruikshank (Jessica); and his sister Edna Mae Boyd (Tom) of Vermillion. He is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
