He is survived by: his daughter Jill Schroeder (David) of Kilchberg, Switzerland; his grandchildren, Thomas Schroeder (Lindsey Higgins) and Jacob Schroeder; and his siblings, Joyce Holthaus (Eugene) of Ft. Loramie, Barbara Rust of Piqua, Carol Braun (Arnold) of Anna and Mike Lehmann (Gail) of Troy.
