Haines of Piqua, Ohio, born in Greenville, Ohio, who passed away on November 16, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Ralph Haines and Myrtle Carter (Odean); his wife Elizabeth "Betty" J. Reardon; his sons, R. Douglas Haines and Steven Haines; his siblings, Robert Haines, William Haines, Bernice Batten, Celia Troope, Mary Benkert and Ruth Koenitzer; his daughter-in-law Connie Haines; and his granddaughter Jennifer Haines.
He is survived by: his son Michael Haines (Cindy) of Piqua; and his grandchildren, Rob, Chris, Greg, Beth, Brian, Matt and Amanda. He is also survived by sixteen great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
