He was predeceased by: his parents, Admiral Ritter and Gladys Ritter (Eustache); his brothers, Edward, Admiral "Dewey" Jr. and Dave; and his granddaughter Elizabeth.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Kay Ritter; his children, Scott, Jan Ritter of Colorado Springs, CO, Randy, Rhonda Ritter, Karmel and Rob Miller; his stepchildren, Alex Shoemaker, Terry and Cassandra Low; his grandchildren, Kyle, James, Stephanie, William, Andrew, Melina and Kierra; and his great grandchildren, Remington, Mason, Emma Jo, William, Lydia, Hunter and Hudson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
