He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip B. Smith and Agnes Smith (Sabbatis); and his wife Eileen Klingensmith. He is survived by: his daughters, Laura Smith of Cleveland and Brenda Brown (David) of Annapolis, Maryland; his stepdaughters, Mindy Brown (Aaron Staley) of Conover and Catina Nicklis (Jamie) of Glenford; and his brother Alan Smith (Shirley) of Cleveland. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; a great granddaughter.
