She was predeceased by: her husband James Skeens; her parents, Harold Schmidt and Lillian Kendall Schmidt; her children, Bruce Hendricks and Lenora Young; and her brothers, David Schmidt and Thomas Schmidt.
She is survived by: her children, Shane Skeens of Lima, Donnie Skeens of Piqua, Ohio and Christine Austin of Piqua, Ohio; and her siblings, Peter Schmidt of Sidney and Lucy Raney of Tennessee. She is also survived by thirty grandchildren; a large number of great-grandchildren.
