He is survived by: his son Jeffery Shoopman (Rebekah) of Sidney; his grandsons, Tyler Shoopman and Asher Shoopman; and his siblings, Roy Shoopman of DeGraff, Viola Freeman of Frankfurt and Linda Hill (Freddie) of Stearns, Kentucky..

A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Shelby Memory Gardens (8540 OH-47, Sidney, OH 45365).

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County, Inc. 3230 N. County Rd. 25A.
