He was predeceased by: his parents, Bobby Smith and Myrtle Smith (Craig); his sisters, Stella Lucier, Bessie Schellenberg and Brenda Loyd; his nieces, Pamela Mays and Brittany Atkinson; and his nephew David Lucier.
He is survived by: his daughters, April Luttrell and Caroline Mays; and his siblings, Darlene Smith, Debbie Smith, Bobby Smith, Carl Smith, Rachel Smith, David Smith and Kenny Smith. He is also survived by five grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
