She was predeceased by: her father Ernest G. Skillman; her siblings, Ernest Skillman, Patricia Heslep, Treva Kinney, Janet Tucker and Maxine Strunk; and her son R. L. Hammons, Jr. (Hammons).
She is survived by: her daughters, Barbie Rinehart of Sidney and Mary Pulfer-Tangeman of Sidney. She is also survived by five grandchildren; and seventeen great grandchildren.
