She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Lay and Pauline Lay (Ewing); her husband John R. Kaeck Sr.; and her brother Thomas Lay. She is survived by: her children, Angela Kaeck and John (Janice Shappie Kaeck); her grandchildren, Bradley Kaeck (Nicole Colarusso), Jennifer Kaeck (Domenic Silvestri), Brian Shappie (Amy), Ben Shappie (Kara) and Alex Shappie; her siblings-in-law, Ron Kaeck and Patricia Morrow; and her nieces and nephews, Debbie, Trishia Knouff and Nickolas Mumpower. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society or to one's favorite charity.
