She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin R. Coburn and Evada Coburn (Bryant); her husband Herbert "Herb" Pitsenbarger August; and her son Charles Pitsenbarger. She is survived by: her daughters, Joyce Pitsenbarger of Piqua, Nancy Nash (Randy) of Richmond and Ann Toon (Roger) of Piqua; and her brother Melvin Coburn of Kentucky. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren.
