She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Shields and Ida Shields (Biehl); her former husband David H. Brown; her husband Richard C. Grimes; and her friend Don Bertling.
She is survived by: her sons, David H. Brown, Jr. (Susanne) of Piqua, Scott Brown (Tammy) of Williamsburg, Kris Brown (Cindy) of Piqua and Patrick Brown (Pam) of Piqua; and her sister Beverly DeWeese (Lynn) of Dayton. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; twenty-eight great grandchildren.
