With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martha Elizabeth Parson of Piqua, Ohio, born in Hardy, Kentucky, who passed away on January 7, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Bailey Laxton; her husband Charles Wesley Parson; her daughters, Kathryn and Merry Jo Parson; her son-in-law Frank Krach; and her sisters, Ann Cross (George) of Oneida and Irene Cross-Robbins of Indiana.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Krach of Piqua, David Parson (Dorcas) of Franklin, Darryl Parson (Don Juan Jones) of Dayton and Karen Jenkins (Sam) of Piqua; her grandchildren, Chad Jenkins of Anna, Christopher Parson (Amanda) of Franklin, Amy Parson-Koons of Franklin and Alan (Allison Parson); her great grandchildren, Bryce Jenkins, Connor Jenkins, Jane Koons, Graham Koons, Benjamin Koons, Patrick Koons and Rhysand Parson; and her brother James Laxton (Imogene) of Robbins, Tennessee. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
