She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Mattox and Carrie Katherine Mattox (Jones); her children, Randy Byrd, Leroy Stevens and Nebra Byrd; and her sister Carol Mattox.
She is survived by: her children, Bill Byrd of Sidney, OH, Joy Moore (Randy) of Piqua, OH, Sonya Smith (Dale Taylor) of Piqua, OH and Sherry Clark (Harry) of West Milton, OH; and her siblings, Kay DeBorde of West Hamlin, WV, Tudy Combs of Dayton, OH, Janet Cooper of West Hamlin, WV and Frank "Doc" Shields of West Hamlin, WV. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, and nineteen great-grandchildren.
