She was predeceased by: her parents, Forest L. Sollmann and Thelma O. Sollmann (Skiver); her husband Charles C. Helmer, Jr.; and her brothers, Robert Sollmann and Don Magill.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Cooper (Jeffrey) of Beavercreek, Chuck Helmer (Diana) of Piqua and Terry Helmer (Angie) of West Chester; her grandchildren, Lisa Uklja (Bryan), Vinnie Romeo, Chad Helmer (Christy), Holly Hogg Nicholas (Tom) and Matthew Helmer; her siblings, Doris Garrett of Piqua, Marilyn Jenkins of Beavercreek, Forest "Ted" Sollmann (Susan) of Vandalia and Richard Sollmann (Kathy) of Oxford; and her sister-in-law Jeannie Sollmann of Pleasant Hill. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
