He was predeceased by: his father Lawrence J. Searles; and his brother Frank Barton. He is survived by: his mother Angelina Searles (Espino) of Apollo Beach; his wife Bonnie K. Searles (Hergenrather); his children, Lawrence A. R. "Larry" Searles II (Hope) of Urbana and Laura Bertini (Ronnie) of Troy; his grandsons, RJ Bertini and Tucker Searles; his sisters, Frances Wilson (Ron) of Apollo Beach, Linda Kubilus (Rick) of North Canton, Gloria Burmeister (John) of Apollo Beach and Diana Fodor (Jeff) of Apollo Beach, Florida; and his sister-in-law Betty Barton of Salem, Ohio. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
