She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Smith and Elsie Smith (Little); her spouse Ira C. "Dale" Goodnite; and her siblings, Charles Smith, George Haddox and Verda Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, James Caruthers (Janice) of Louisville, Becky Kiener (Dale) of Louisville, Terry Caruthers (Jeannine Denson) of Lilburn, Debbie Black (Chris) of Piqua and Jeff Goodnite of Patriot; and her sister Nancy Morris of Racine. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren.
