We are sad to announce that on May 15, 2024, at the age of 87, Joe Grimes of Piqua, Ohio, born in West Liberty, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Grimes and Mary Grimes (King); his siblings, Ruth Wirick, Kate Plank, Pauline Moffitt, Mark Grimes and Ben S. Grimes; his daughter Mandee Cron; and his brother-in-law John Holthaus.
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia (Holthaus); his son Jeff Grimes (Stacy) of Piqua, OH; his stepchildren, Philip Berning (Michele) of Miamisburg, OH and Beth Berning (Paul Schmiesing); his son-in-law Rick Cron (Jill); his siblings, Phyllis Wallace of Bellefontaine, OH, Leo Grimes, Jr. of Bellefontaine, OH and Don Grimes (Carol Ann) of Kenton, OH; his close friend Barney; his grandchildren, Dawnna (Ray), Zack (Rachel), Katie (Kyle), Kyle and Kassie (Trey); his great grandchildren, Dirk, Clive, Neil, Lochlan, Wade, Rafe, Kaylei, Eli, Kameron, Khloe and Zoey; and his in-laws, Karen, Jim Anthony, Arlene, Jerry Wissman of Minster, OH, Jeanette, Dale Ranly of Minster, OH and Cathy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
