She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarance Emmons and Nola Emmons (Foster); her husband Frederick C. Hefflinger; and her sisters, Norma Meeds, Betty Emmons and Ellen Emmons.

She is survived by: her daughters, Diana Keith (Ted) of Versailles and Kris Amburgey (Steven) of Albuquerque; her granddaughters, Staci Evans (Josh), Nola Amburgey (Yorlin Moraga) and Emily Amburgey; her great grandchildren, Jonus Lipton and Nicholas Evans; her brother-in-law Russell Meeds of Miamisburg; her nieces, Linda Dietz (Wally) of Indiana and Karen Fultz (Larry) of Columbus; and her nephew Mark Meeds (Peggy) of Dayton. She is also survived by cousins, extended family, and dear friends.
