It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice Petty of Piqua, Ohio, born in Greenville, Ohio, who passed away on November 16, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl I. Long and Lillia A. Long (Coppess); her husband Howard M. "Mitch" Petty; her siblings, Wilbert, Arthur, William, Robert, Opal Long and Lorena Arnett; her daughter-in-law Darlene Petty; and her daughter Sandra Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Randy Petty (Amie) of Piqua, Timothy Petty of Piqua, Darin "Scott" Petty of Piqua, Deborah Petty of Piqua, Valerie Frazier (Scott) of Piqua and Catherine Baker (Phil) of Rushville; and her son-in-law Rick Jones of Piqua. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
