He was predeceased by: his father John Putterbaugh; his wife Marilyn J. Putterbaugh (McGarvey); and his son Philip Putterbaugh. He is survived by: his stepchildren, Elizabeth Townsend (David), Kim Hampshire of Piqua and William "Bill" Hampshire (Stacy) of New Carlisle; and his sister Debbie Nowland (William) of Colorado Springs. He is also survived by six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; also other relatives and friends.
