He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Apple and Cora Apple (Boham); his son David Apple; his children-in-law, Julie Apple and Gary Holfinger; and his siblings, Walter, Norbert, Lester, Ralph Apple, Katherine Foster and June Keller.
He is survived by: his children, Jacquelyn Holfinger of Covington, Nancy DuLaney (Jason) of Colleyville, Texas and Randy Apple (Cathy) of Stone Creek; his grandchildren, Rachel (Tyler), Sarah, Jessica, Michael, James (Cassie), Thomas (Caity), Joshua (Coree), Stephanie (Cody), Samantha (Taylor), Shannon, Dylan and Jacob; and his sisters, Annabell Subler, Pauline Berry and Betty Liddy. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
