She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Owen and Nellie Owen (Schaffer). She is survived by: her children, Cathy Weinstock (Stacey) of Maplewood, Jeff Hughes (Lee) of Piqua and Crystal Neargarder (Scott) of Troy; her grandchildren, Chad Hughes, Brittany Verhotz (Justin), Joshua Adkins, Brayden Peters, Breanna Peters and Anneliese Wolf; her great grandchildren, Branson, Lona and Averie; and her caregivers, Julie, Tina, Betty and Darla.

Memorial contributions in Helen's name may be made to Ohio's Hospice of Miami County, 3230 N. County Rd. 25A, Troy, OH 45373.
