He was predeceased by: his parents, Harriet J. Mercer (Warner) and Fred E. Mercer; his brothers, William Pummill and Harry "Duke" Pummill; and his parents-in-law, Joseph and Rachel Reiber.
He is survived by: his wife Mary C. Pummill (Reiber); his sons, Christopher Pummill (Jessica) of Centerville and Brian Pummill (Michelle) of Chesapeake, Virginia; his grandchildren, Kaiden, Madi, Isabelle, Garrett, Tait, Parker and Sommer; his sister Ruthanna Hamilton (Doug) of Lexington, Kentucky; his siblings-in-law, Susanne Pummill of Piqua, Josephine Anderson of Piqua, Ivan Reiber (Shirley) of Sidney and James Curl of Sidney; and his pets, Oscar, Punkin and Calico. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
