He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse L. Ackles and Argailia Haynes (Medley); and his sister Delores Harrison. He is survived by: his children, Christopher Hal Reaves of Cincinnati, Chelsea Dawson II (Edward) of Toledo and Garrison Franklin (Erica) of Cincinnati; his stepchildren, Franklin Rashaan Evans (Stacy) of Piqua, Talia Myers of Trotwood and Shayla Minkner of Troy; his grandchildren, Jordan, Aujah, Edawnya, Christian, Kainen, Jocelyn, Kyler, Edward III, Ja'Tara, Cincere, Nivant and Baby Franklin; his great grandchildren, Julianna, Jiavonna and Samiyah; his sisters, Sylvanna Cooper of Piqua and Charita Rucker of Texas; and his nieces, Yvette and Diamond Cooper.
