He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Ball and Ida Mae Ball (Benchoff); his siblings, David Ball, Robert Ball, Phillip Ball and Betty Toomey; and his sons, Dean Ballard, Mark Ballard and Tim Ballard.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Ball (Floss); his children, Franklin, John Ball, Joe Ball (Will), Danny Ball (Carey), Shirley Jayne White (Dean), Lori Villars (Bill), Kelly Gill (Brian), Stephanie Hardman (Doug) and Amy Clark; the mother of his children Ruth Ball; his siblings, Joe Ball of Dayton, OH, Alice Dye of Phoenix, AZ, Maryann Addington (Dan), Nancy Weber (Bill) and Rockville, MD; and also, Donald, Jr. Ballard (Brenda) and Tamara Burchiel. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
