It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Proffitt of Piqua, Ohio, born in Bluefield, West Virginia, who passed away on August 13, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Shrader and Ethel Shrader (Havens); her husband James E. Proffitt; her children, John Proffitt, Mary Simon and Joyce Ann Proffitt; her brother Danny Shrader; and her grandson Christopher Proffitt.
She is survived by: her daughter Brenda Williams (Scott Knouff) of Troy; and her grandchildren, Andrew, Steven, Lisa, Cory, Shawn, Jamie, Anthony, Michelle and Chris. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
