It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elmer Longenecker (Piqua, Ohio), who passed away on April 8, 2019, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Ellen K. Longenecker (Rasor); his daughter Annette Longenecker; and his siblings, Floyd Longenecker, Edith Stryker, Edna Schaurer, Emerson Longenecker, Lowell Longenecker, Naomi Hines and Vianna Bagwell.
He is survived by: his wife Dolores J. Kastle-Longenecker (Benning) of Piqua; his children, Anita Longenecker of Laura and David Longenecker of Laura; and his stepchildren, Kathy Thaman (Bill) of Milford Center, John Kastle (Sherry) of Piqua and Todd Kastle (Claire Ritter) of Tipp City. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 10 step grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 14 step great grandchildren.
