It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edith I. Hartman (Piqua, Ohio), born in Lima, Ohio, who passed away on January 31, 2019, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wavel Ransbottom and Martha Ransbottom (Kidd); her son Bernard W. Hartman; her granddaughter Crystal Bryan; her great grandchild Madison Marie Wireman; her brother-in-law Donald Rhodes; and her sister Marcene Spangler (Raymond).
She is survived by: her spouse John C. Hartman; her daughters, Nancy Coon (Byron Brown) of Piqua, OH and Linda Shreves (Marvin Thomas) of Piqua, OH; her grandchildren, Gregory Titus (Chastity), Joshua Titus (Heather Telez), Anthony Titus (Angie Basil), Cory Wireman, Amber Poling (Bill) and Bernard Ernest "Ernie" Hartman; her sisters, Waneta Manos (George) of Englewood, OH and Doris Rhodes of Englewood, OH; and her siblings-in-law, Dorothy Hartman of Bluffton, OH and Donald Hartman of Alabama.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Chiles-Laman to help defray the funeral costs.
