The memory of Dorthalee Nishwitz of Piqua, Ohio, who passed away on November 18, 2024 at the age of 99, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Victor Hunt Sr. and Lela Marie Hunt (Morris); her husband Elwood Nishwitz; her daughter Janice "Corky" Buecker; and her siblings, Harold V. Hunt, Jr., Dean Hunt, Madeline Wright, Lucille Sando, Geraldine Brown, Donnabelle Cavender and Leetta Roemish.
She is survived by: her daughter Judith "Judy" Bruner (Thomas) of Troy; her grandchildren, Todd Bruner, Trudy Stump (Galen), Eric Buecker (Michelle) and Scott Buecker (Jill); her great grandchildren, Logan, Ben Stump, Trent, Tyler, Taylor Bruner, Brooke, Nathan, Jacob Buecker and Abbygail Berger; and her great great grandchildren, Rowan Elizabeth Buchanan and Arlo Montgomery Bruner.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home (1124 W Main St, Troy, OH 45373). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at the Forest Hill Cemetery (3230 N County Rd 25A, Troy, OH 45373).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Ohio's Hospice of Miami County, 3230 N. Co. Rd. 25A, Troy, OH 45373.Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
