He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur W. Gerlach and Ardelia Gerlach (Britton); his son David A. Gerlach; and his sister Jackie Craig. He is survived by: his former wife Carol A. Hemminger; his children, Deborah Kiser (Ron) of Piqua and Steven Gerlach (Linette) of Casstown; his grandchildren, Chad Felver (Holly), Christine Holthaus (Shaun), Kyle Gerlach (Charity), Abby Gerlach, Wade Gerlach, Brock Kiser (Krystal), Joseph Kiser and Greta Welsh; his sister Aneda Neider-Heide (late Ken); and his wife Homemade Ice Cream. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
