She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Hook and Florence Hook; her husband Richard "Dick" Gentis; and her brother Fred Hook. She is survived by: her daughters, Shelley Benitez (Alberto) of Charlotte, NC, Sherry Behnken and Jennifer Everett (Curtis) of Fletcher, OH; and her brother Jim Hook of Hobe Sound, FL. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.
