It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dennis Ely of Piqua, Ohio, who passed away on August 7, 2023, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hobart E. Ely and Barbara Ely (Rike). He is survived by: his wife Julie G. Ely (Potts); his sons, William Ely (Emily) of Vandalia and Jason Phillips (Katie) of Wellston; his grandchildren, Kyla, Taylor, Jayce, Hayley, Brayden and William Jr.; his great grandchildren, Korie and Kian; and his brother Rus Ely (Amy) of Covington.
Memorial contributions may be made to the scholarship funds of the Covington VFW or Amvets.
