He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl L. Davis and Mary E. Davis (Christman); his wife Sylvia Davis (Stokes); his stepchildren, Darrell Day and Dalan Day; and his grandson Dailan Day.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Denesa Goings of Sidney and Darrin Day of Sidney, Ohio; his grandchildren, Ryan Dempsey, Destiny Goings, Kyle Goings, Tyler Goings, Daniel Goings, Andrea Spurgeon (Drew), Nathan Day, Saxxon Day, Amanda Day, Amber Pannell (Jacob) and Deanna Kersey (Coltin); and his brother Douglas Davis of Shreveport, Louisiana..
