It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David E. Lavey of Piqua, Ohio, born in Troy, Ohio, who passed away on February 27, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale A. Lavey and Evelyn Lavey (Pitsenbarger); and his siblings, Adrian Lavey, Vivian Lavey and Edith Yahne.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara J. Thompson; his sons, David Eric Lavey of Russia and Brad Lavey (Meredith) of Piqua; his grandchildren, Benjamin, Joseph and Cora; and his brother Mike Lavey (Anne) of Piqua.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Comprehensive Transplant Center Greatest Need Fund 14 E. 15th St. Columbus, OH 43201.
