He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert K. Burch and Martha Burch (Walters); and his grandson Cole Burch. He is survived by: his wife Lucy M. Robbins; his children, David (Ophelia Burch), James Burch, Thomas Slife, Jr. (Sidney), Leah (Jeff Hines) and Stephanie Groves; his brother William Clemons; and his grandchildren, Jerri Thomas, Ashley Thomas, Kambrun Burch, Kiersten Ward, Tiffany Campbell (Tony), Joshua Frasure (Tam), Alicia Slife, Taylor Hines and Rowdy Hines. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
