He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Neer and Mary Neer (Jenkins); and his siblings, Barbara Neer, Elizabeth Neer, Betty Metz (Sam), Dorothy Wheeler (Maurice), Sharon Annabelle Beaty, Mary Hildreth (Bob), Lewis Neer (Judy), Jerry Neer (Mary Alice), Walter Neer (Connie) and Jim Neer (Mary).
He is survived by: his wife Kay Neer (Zimmerman); his son Brian Neer (June Goodman); his sister Karen Sue Neer; and his friend Dwight Reed. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
