It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carol E. Vorhees of Piqua, Ohio, born in Quincy, Ohio, who passed away on September 23, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Albert A. Vonderhuevel; her husband Darrell E. "Smokey" Vorhees; her siblings, Charles, Marion, Neil, Doris Dye, Tina Strasser and Phyllis Schindel; and her sons, Troy Vorhees and Samuel Vorhees.
She is survived by: her children, Vennard Vorhees (Melodie) of Piqua, Larry Vorhees (Kristi) of Sidney, Fred Vorhees (Joe) of Urbana and Peggy Snyder (Jan) of Arcanum. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and one great great grandson.
