He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Cantrell and Minnie Cantrell (Wright); his spouse Ruie Pennington; his siblings, Ethelene Goolsby, Goldie Cantrell, Frona Margaret Peyton, Buford Cantrell and Buel Cantrell; and his sister-in-law Virginia Cantrell.
He is survived by: his daughter Debra Schock (Brad) of Piqua; his granddaughter Brooklyn Walter (Benjamin); his great grandchildren, Annabelle, Alexandra, Austin, Augustus "Gus" and Ayrton; and his nieces and nephews, Trisha Bowman (David), Phyllis Snapp (Phil), Sharon Brandt (Tom), David Cantrell (Lisa) and Larry Cantrell (Debbie). He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
