She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Tennery and Margaret Tennery (Sheperd); her husband Howard Metz; and her brothers, Charles R. Tennery and Robert Jr..
She is survived by: her sister Dorothy Brand of Piqua; her sister-in-law JoAnn Metz of Wapakoneta; her children, Sandy Small (Jeff) of Sidney and Timothy Metz of Pittsburgh, PA; her grandchildren, Chris Kloeker (Jennifer) of Troy, Kristy Kendall (Brian) of Sidney, Brandy Schulze (Jordan) of Sidney, Jon (JJ) and Spencer of Versailles; her great grandchildren, Austin, Ashley Kloeker, Dylan, Taylor Kendall and Gracie Schulze; and her great great grandchildren, Addy and McKenna Kendall.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Shelby County Senior Center in Betty's memory.
